Many thanks for the pictures of the reunion-am vicariously enjoying every moment! Also had the occasion to visit the Dadiani's who not only shared their memories with me, but made duplicates of their pictures for my enjoyment! While I was heartsick that i could not attend, I thought of you all each day. And as you partied on Sat. night, I made my way to the hospital-my granddaughter, Summer Anne, was born early Sunday morning on July 8th!! I have had the good fortune to spend lots of time with her this summer and am not looking forward to returning to school (aka work)! Perhaps it's time to think seriously about retirement!! I hearthat many of you have passed that way! Keep the pictures coming-I sure I speak for many who are enjoying them in offering sincere thanks!!

Great reunion...I agree with everyone who responded. The great web page is wonderful...this is what the Internet was meant for! We missed some friends who came in '93 but not this time and were glad to see others I hadn't seen since 1968. Hopefully, we will always be able to "gather by the river." I had such fun at all three events! Absolutely, the barbecue was my favorite. The weather was gorgeous and being out by the river the last time we would be able to be there made it so special! I missed so many who didn't come, but loved seeing all those who did make it, especially the Reveley's (Terry and Rev), the Putnam's (Terry, Don and Teddy) and the Schrum's (Linda and Don).
Thanks so much to all who made this reunion possible.

reunion was outstanding. thanks to all on the committee for their work; special thanks to butch forehand for hosting the social friday night; and great to see all who could attend. i'll volunteer to help on the 2006 reunion.
for those who might read this (and care) who couldnt attend (a) yes i'm retired. us army decided it was more cost effective to pay me to NOT show up for work (b) 2 wives (past tense), 3 kids, 5 grandkids (c) i do NOT know where bobby london is (although that might depend on what the definition of "is", is), as i have repeatedly told the authorities. but bobby, wherever you are (thats where you are), let us know. i am sure that some kind of amnesty is in effect.
again, super job by the reunion committee, and i know we all thank you for it!
p.s.1 mr rutman, to set the records straight, my ancestry began at the original colony of jamestown, va., not zebulon, n.c. however, a few miscreants with my last name were indeed expelled from the colony for public drunkenness, and settled unfortunately in zebulon. hope this clears that up.

Thanks to all who made this reunion possible. I can't put into words how much fun Renee' and I had. Many memories and flash backs occured as I visited the campus for the picnic, mostly good. As the years pass I realize how much we all had in common, even though we were from many different areas, everyone blended and got along so well. As I sat there Saturday nite and listened to Colonel Blair, Coach Hodges, and Coach Madigan, I realized how fortunate we all were, and how proud I am to be a Frederick College graduate. Thanks again for a wonderful weekend and I'm already making plans for the next reunion in 2006.

I spent some more time on the Reunion web-site and it filled me with a reawakening of memories and relations. It has also given me a good excuse to anticipate seeing folks, of course we have all changed in many ways, and reconnecting to part of my past. I visited the old campus about three years ago; my sons were at a basketball camp in Farmville, Va. Upon completion of the camp we were headed to visit relatives in Raleigh; I sidetracked and drove through the grounds of once Frederick College. The boys were sleeping and I wished I had someone else who could help me remember these scenes of over 30 years ago. I, with excitement, look forward to the "Reunion" and exchanging memories which were exceptional.
I saw that Larry Stallings is listed; is this the Larry who is related to the Zebulon, N.C. Stallings? I wonder if anybody knows where Robert London(Newport News)is?

This was sure a great idea! Hoping we can get to the reunion. Frederick was a very special place and I have always cherished the memories. Thanks for putting this together. I moved home to Mathews with Warren and two children in 1971. I taught senior English in my old alma mater for twenty seven years and retired last June. have missed the other reunions, but am planning on making this one.....the comments and pictures brought back alot of memories (especially since most of that time in the '60's was pretty much of a "fog")...frederick was a great place with a ton of great people, some of which I am still in contact with today, and hopefully will for the rest of my life....one suggestion...if possible, could the committee post a list of the expected attendees for the July reunion? might help others make up their minds or change some plans in anticipation of seeing some old friends...thx again for doing a great job

I am looking forward to this year's reunion and seeing my Lambda Tau sisters again. The last reunion was great but I am terrible about keeping up correspondence and Robbie does such a nice job of Christmas cards! I am writing this from the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation building in Seattle. I work for the Portsmouth Public Libraries and we received a grant from the Foundation for computers. This is an incredible place. We're excited Nick and Kathy Matthews have moved closer to Tidewater...they are our daughter Suzanne's godparents.

Good to see some of the missing in action people.

Good to see and hear some long lost IMPS are around. I have some of the
old IMPS stuff. The original "Puzzle" is still in original form. See you all

I received an email from Dr. Charles Payne today who said this
and I don't think it needs to be kept between he and I, so I'm
doing a little cutting and pasting here for him...
"I assume I'm addressing Bill Maddrey....
You may, or may not, remember me. In 1959 I started teaching in the second
year of the existence of Frederick Military Academy. Although I taught
various subjects at first, I settled into Spanish after the Thanksgiving
Vacations, also becoming the Chairman of the Modern Language Department. In
1961 I transferred over to the new campus with the college students. I was
the Chairman of the Modern Foreign Language Department and a Professor of
Spanish until 1966. At that point I became the Registrar, until the college
closed its doors.
I did attend one of the reunions and managed to meet some of the former
students, but that was some time ago.
It will not be possible for me to attend the reunion, since I am a
missionary in a jungle hospital in Ecuador. The dates to not mesh with my
I switched over to Medicine (nursing) in 1975 and graduated from a school
for nurse anesthetists in 1985. After getting six years of experience, I
started into medical missions work. I have worked for several missionary
organizations, the main one being Mercy Ships, a branch of Youth with a
Mission. After about three years of helping on a temporary basis, I settled
here in Shell, Ecuador at the Hospital Vozandes del Oriente, where I have
been since the Spring of 1994. From July 1991 to the Spring of 1994 I was
traveling a lot, and managed to get into the following countries: The Ivory
Coast, Guinea, Sierra Leon, Senegal, Mali, Burkina Faso, Spain, France,
England, Holland, Denmark, Germany, Honduras, Haiti, St. Thomas, El
Salvador, Belize, Panama, Venezuela, Brazil, Bolivia, and Ecuador. I did
not work in all these countries, but I did manage to visit them all. It has
been a wonderful experience.
Since I have now reached by 65th birthday, it seems to me that anesthesia is
too stressful, so I am now working in the office of the hospital, mainly
with computer work. We are blessed with electricity and some pretty
generous donors, making it possible for us to be connected to the "outside
world" by satellite. That gives us access to the Internet, and, of course,

Class of 67 - Made it through 4 years - Private to 1st Lieutenant to Private - Definitely the most memorable times of my young life - College was rather tame by comparison -A truly great school, caring teachers and many friends I've lost track of. Anyone know what happened to Ron Isabel? -I always look back to the sports program and remember the wrestling team - I will make an effort to attend this summer and look forward to trying to match names to the much younger faces I remember.

I have fond memories of my short stay at
Frederick College - Sept.'65- June '66.
It was my first experience away from home & I
went wild! Sleeping on VA Beach,3.2 beer,
Fri. keg parties, dance socials, and
a pen-pal girlfriend from ECTC to commute to on
weekends! I flunked out, as you might expect from
that social schedule, returned home - went to DCC
community college, SUNY Brockport and later got
a MS Ed in Counseling from LIU. I work for NYS / DOCS
as a Correction Counselor - married, 3 kids & still
keep that place in my heart for F.C.! I will not be at
this reunnion - I work summers as a Vendor at the
Stormville Flea market. I Welcome any contact from
